The days continue to pass without the appearance of this baby. The due date has come... and gone and still we wait. And as for all the old wives' tales that tell you it will get labor going, well, we've tried many of them to no avail. For someone who does not like the taste of tea, drinking raspberry leaf tea everyday (one of those old wives' tales) has not been very pleasant. This little one already has the control. What a scary thought. I believe my poor husband is suffering from pre-partum depression(a condition that I thought up). Instead of being depressed after the baby comes, he is "depressed" because the baby doesn't seem to want to be here. Jason has been keeping himself busy at school and doing some golfing. I had a visit with a friend and her new baby yesterday, hoping that he would encourage his friend to come out and play. No luck yet. Knitting has also been something I've been doing a lot of to pass the time. Since knitting three different colored baby blankets, I've tried my hand at a few different things: hats, little slippers (in multiple colors), and even a baby cocoon. But, maybe today will be the day. Only God knows and He's not letting us in on the secret. This is definitely an example of the sovereignty of God at work!
