Trick or Treat

It is hard to believe that another week has passed. Jason attended a teacher's conference for a couple of days so Martina and Penny went up west to see Nana. Of course there were stops along the way at Nanny and Pappy's house and then to Grand Daddy's house. Penny spent some time with a little kitty to see how to play her character for Halloween. On Friday Penny visited the doctor for her two month appointment. Our little girl is growing like a weed. She is now 12lbs 5oz and 23 inches long. For church today Penny wore a little dress that Jason and Martina bought when they were on their Honeymoon in Mexico. Not sure if that purchase was foreshadowing but Jason and Martina are so happy that God gave them such a wonderful little girl. She is actually growing out of some of her clothes. Check out below for some great pics of the week.

For Halloween Penny dressed up as a little black cat. She had cute little ears and even a little tail. Jason took her to a few neighbors houses for treats. There was no way Daddy was going to get her Doritos.

Penny has been doing a lot of talking. She must of told stories for an hour straight on Saturday. Now I wonder who she gets that from? Probably from Grandpa Biech.

Penny in Action

Things are beginning to get quite busy in the Biech household. With Jason running a school and now beginning another course he is finding it hard to have the time to put new posts up. Martina and Penny are adjusting well to routine. Martina loves being a mom and would not trade it for anything. Penny is a great baby, she rarely fusses and loves to laugh. For those who are unable to spend time in person with Penny this blog post is for you. Below are a few short videos of Penny talking and dancing. Enjoy!!

Little Miss Adorable

It is hard to believe but Penelope is already two months old. Last week Penny got her first three immunization shots. Though painful she did handle it well and maybe even better than Mom. She is now 11.3lbs and 22 inches long. The Biech's had another busy weekend. Friday night they went and watched Taylor play volleyball and then took him out for supper. Saturday the boys and girls played a few soccer games against some teams from the mainland. Mom and Penny walked up to the field to give the girls some much needed support. Later that night Penny watched Dad play hockey for the first time. Though not as exciting as her Uncles, Dad's skill level is quite entertaining to watch. Sunday always give Penny the chance to put on something styling. check out some of the pics below of the latest photo shoot.

Happy Thanksgiving

What a great weekend. Good times with family, great eats, making apple pies, hockey games, a little farming and fun in the leaves. Those are just some of the highlights of the past few days. Penny spent her first Thanksgiving up West with Nana. Besides three big turkey dinners the major event that took place was Mom and Dad going on a date. On Saturday night Jason and Martina drove down to Charlottetown to see Hairspray. Nana spent the evening with Penny. So what does Nana do, she takes Penny with her to Moncton to watch Uncle Lance's hockey game. The boys won in a shootout. Jason and Martina had a great time at the show and were proud of their little girl who was so good for Nana. She even took the bottle no problem. Below are just a few pics from the weekend. Tomorrow is a big day. Penelope is two months old. WOW!!!

Flowers for the Girls

Jason arrived home on the weekend with flowers for his two favorite girls. The pink ones for his little darling Penny and the darker red ones for his wonderful wife. Nana came down for the weekend to get her Penny fix. On Saturday the crew went to Montague to watch Martina's cousin Taylor play volleyball. Penny enjoyed herself and has decided that volleyball would be a fun sport to play. Later that day Penny, Mom and Nana went to Summerside to watch Uncle Colby play hockey. Unfortunately St. Mary's lost to UPEI 5-2 but Uncle Colby was able to let go of the loss a little easier after spending some time with Penny.
Now that the weather is getting cooler it is time to pull out some of the warmer clothes.

Back to Normal

On Wednesday Penny had to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa. It was wonderful to have Jason's parents around for a few weeks. Penny loved having her grandparents on the Island. They spent a lot of time going for walks and cuddling. Grandma had a hard time leaving. It will be a long couple of months from now until Christmas. Of course they are welcome to visit anytime. Maybe Grandpa will have to get a frequent flyer card.

Now that the grandparents have left, life has returned to normal. Jason is at work and Mom and Penny get to spend the day together. Jason's favorite time of the day is first thing in the morning when Penny and dad spend 15 minutes together cuddling in the bed. Jason is the first to admit that he is not a morning person, but if there is one thing he will get up for in the morning is the opportunity to spend some quality time with his little girl.
