On Wednesday Penny had to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa. It was wonderful to have Jason's parents around for a few weeks. Penny loved having her grandparents on the Island. They spent a lot of time going for walks and cuddling. Grandma had a hard time leaving. It will be a long couple of months from now until Christmas. Of course they are welcome to visit anytime. Maybe Grandpa will have to get a frequent flyer card.
Now that the grandparents have left, life has returned to normal. Jason is at work and Mom and Penny get to spend the day together. Jason's favorite time of the day is first thing in the morning when Penny and dad spend 15 minutes together cuddling in the bed.
Jason is the first to admit that he is not a morning person, but if there is one thing he will get up for in the morning is the opportunity to spend some quality time with his little girl.
