After an entire week of planning for Hurricane Earl the storm finally arrived on Saturday. Thankfully it did not pack as strong of a punch as Juan did seven years ago. Jason and Penny spent some time admiring the wind by standing at the front door. Penny was especially intrigued with how the wind would blow so hard that the trees would almost bend right in half. She also enjoyed listening to the rain hitting the side of the house. Thankfully the power was only out for three hours. By late afternoon life was back to normal. The only problem was that the internet did not work so blogging was put off for another day. The following are a few of the things Penny has done over the last few days.
