Unlike the rest of the country PEI has yet to have a heat wave. Most days are cloudy in the morning, partly sunny in the afternoon and then evening showers. So it has been hard to get to the beach. We bought Penny a pool earlier in the month and finally this week she was able to test it out. As you can see she had lots of fun. 
Other activities include going out for breakfast with friends and strawberry picking. It was so cold in the middle of the afternoon the poor girl had to wear a fleece jacket. Of course that didn't stop her when PEI has the best strawberries in the world. Penny also has had some play dates with friends and has been to the park a number of times swinging.
As a family we do not want to take full credit for the Riders big win on the weekend but we believe that Penny had a big part to play in the victory. Sunday morning she put on her Rider gear to show her support and pride for the team. 
She also did a lot of dancing and jumping to get pumped up for the game. Yes there was time for a pre-game nap as well. Enjoy the pics from the last week.
