Yes the long awaited snow day has arrived. Large amounts of precipitation, the right temperature, high winds and the perfect timing have all come together to hit the Island with a powerful NorEaster. The best part about a snow day is Jason does not have to go to work. So he and Penny can relax, play a bunch and try new things. 
Of course snow days mean that pajamas are meant to be worn all day and time is set aside for reading a good book and listening to the wind blow.
Penny has had a great week. She is spending more time playing independently, shopping with mom, eating everything she can get in her mouth and watching her uncles play hockey. This pass Nana came for a visit and Penny and the girls went and saw Uncle Colby play against UPEI. 
The on Sunday the family watch Uncle Lance play against the PEI Rockets. Even though Penny is an Islander she made sure she showed her support for the Moncton Wildcats by wearing her new Jersey. Working the Lungs
