Loving Life

With a good report from the doctors and nurses, Caden was able to leave the hospital today.  Mom and Dad were excited to be able to take him home and start life as a family of four.  Penny is excited about being an older sister.  Let the fun begin!!!

Here are a few pictures from multiple cameras. Enjoy!!

Welcome Caden

On June 7, at 6:58pm Caden Gregory Biech entered the world.  He was 7.6 lbs, 19 inches long and has a full head of hair.  Dad, Mom and little Penny are delighted to have him as part of the family.  God has once again showed his blessings on the Biech family with a wonderful healthy baby boy.

Can You Say Personality?

It is hard to believe that Penny is almost fifteen months old.  It just seem like yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital.  She has definitely grown into a little girl that loves life.  She is quite busy but at the same time loves to be around adults, children and dogs.  She has a number of dance moves and some of her new words are Bob (Veggie tales) and APPLE.  I know it has been a while but enjoy some of the pics from the last couple of months.

Looks Who's One

That's right little Miss Penelope is one years old. If her first birthday is any indication of what the next ones are going to be like, mom and dad better be prepared for some pretty big celebrations. The house was full of family and friends along with a few of Penny's playmates. Jason worked the bbq and Martina made an incredible butterfly cake. Everyone thinks she has some pretty amazing cake decorating talents. Penny was treated to her very own butterfly cake and tore right into it. Once she got a taste of the sugary icing there was no turning back. Cake went everywhere. Then it was off to opening presents. Lets just say there are a lot of people that care about this little girl. She got books, dolls, a barn, musical instruments from mom and dad and of course some clothes. She even got her first pair of puma shoes from Papa. She then played with her new toys and said good bye to all her guests. All in all it was a wonderful day.

ALL TIRED OUT FROM A DAY OF PARTYING

YUM, CAKE!!

The family also went to New Brunswick for a few days with Topher and Tina. The family hiked some trails at Fundy, ate a four pound lobster, walked out on the beach when the tides were out and played on the playground equipment. The next day consisted of visiting Hopewell rocks which has the highest tides in the world (46ft). Topher and Tina kayaked through the rocks when the tide was high and then everyone walked on the ocean floor later that day. Penny loved walking on beach and picking up rocks.

With all the excitement about Penny turning one, Jason's birthday may have been forgotten. Fortunately Martina surprised Jason a couple of times with guests and cake. She made another incredible cake. This time it was a golf theme. All in all it has been quite a week. Oh and the really big news is that Penny started walking last night. With a bunch of guest here she took off and walked right around the kitchen and living room. Of course she thought she was something special. Yes this little girl knows how to turn it on.

Achtung Baby

Jason and Martina along with 80,000 crazy U2 fans participated in U2's last stop on their three year long 360 tour at Magnetic Hill on Saturday night. Some of the highlights of the concert were the fighter jets flying over the venue four times, Beautiful Day being introduced by an captain from the Space Station and the band playing all the classic songs. They even played Jason's favorite "The Fly." Of course the story would not be complete without rain to add to the craziness. It poured all day and the place became a mud fest. Thankfully Jason and Martina had their rubber boots. The rest of their friends had to live with muddy and wet feet. The group had awesome seats right infront of the push barrier about 20 yards from the outer stage. That means they had no one behind them and a fence to lean back on. Also during the concert they could stand on the railing or sit on the fence. This made the experience even better. Leaving the concert was crazy with crowds of people and mud everywhere. Overall it was an incredible concert that won't soon be forgotten. For you James Bond or Remington Steele fans Peirce Brosnan walked right beside Jason and Martina.

Meanwhile Penny spent the weekend at Aunt Steph's. She got to go to the Alberton parade and exhibition. According to Steph she was a little angel. Penny also got an early birthday present from Uncle Colby and Megan. She just loves her new activity table.
It makes all kinds of sounds and music. Penny loves to play the little piano that is on it. Just like mom. All we need now to make the summer even better is some warm weather.
